This is an English translation provided for convenience. The French privacy policy is the authoritative version.
Blue View Cannes only collects the data you send us voluntarily through the enquiry form. That data is used solely to answer your enquiry about a stay. It is never sold, transferred or used for advertising purposes.
What data is collected
When you complete the enquiry form on the contact and booking page, we receive the following information:
- Desired arrival and departure dates
- Number of guests
- Purpose of the stay
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- The content of your message
No other data is requested. No user account is created.
Why this data is collected
There is a single purpose: to reply to you. To check whether the apartment is free on your dates, tell you the corresponding rate, and discuss the arrangements for your stay.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given via the form's checkbox, together with pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
Who receives this data
Enquiries are sent to info@blueviewcannes.com and handled by the people responsible for renting Blue View Cannes.
The technical delivery of the form is carried out by the Web3Forms service, which routes the form content to our mailbox. That provider acts as a technical processor for this single operation. It does not durably retain the content of messages and does not use them for any other purpose.
How long it is kept
Messages received through the contact form are kept for 3 months from our last reply, then deleted.
Exchanges relating to an actual booking fall under the Airbnb platform and its own retention policy. Associated accounting documents are kept for the period required by applicable legal obligations.
Cookies and audience measurement
This site sets no advertising cookies, no commercial trackers and no profiling tools. Only anonymous audience measurement is offered, and it stays switched off until you have expressly accepted it.
The consent banner
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline audience measurement. Declining is as easy as accepting: both buttons are presented at the same level. Until you have made a choice, or if you decline, no measurement script is loaded and no measurement cookie is set.
You can change your choice at any time by clicking the "Cookies" link at the bottom of every page.

Google Analytics
When you accept it, we use Google Analytics 4 to know which pages are viewed and how visitors reach the site. The IP address is anonymised and no data is used to identify you personally. Google's "Consent Mode v2" is implemented: advertising signals are permanently denied, even if you accept audience measurement.

YouTube video
Videos on the site are shown as a simple image until you click on them. No connection to YouTube is made before your click. Once playback starts, the player is loaded from the youtube-nocookie.com domain, designed to limit tracker placement.
Web fonts
The fonts used by the site are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves your browser connecting to that provider's servers. No cookie is set in the process.
External services linked from this site
This site links to third-party services, notably our Airbnb listing and the official websites of the Cannes events. When you follow those links you leave BlueViewCannes.com and the privacy policies of those services apply. We have no control over the data they collect.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of data concerning you, as well as the right to data portability.
To exercise these rights, write to us at info@blueviewcannes.com. We will deal with your request as quickly as possible.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority for personal data protection.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Data submitted through the form travels encrypted between your browser and the delivery service.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated, in particular if new services are added to the site. The version published online is always the applicable version.
