Cannes is a town in the Alpes-Maritimes department, on the French Riviera, known for its bay, the Lerins Islands and its Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. People come for the Mediterranean in summer, and all year round for international events.

The Villa Francia pool is open from April to November. Access to the pool, its deck and the solarium is free. Only sun lounger hire is charged, and only in July and August: €4 per half-day, subject to availability. Chairs remain freely available on the solarium all year round.
How does check-in work?
Check-in is self-service. On the day of your arrival we send you the access codes along with an illustrated guide that walks you step by step to the apartment. Access is possible from 5:00 pm, unless arranged in advance. Check-out is at 11:00 am.
How far is the Palais des Festivals?
The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès is 2.9 km from the Villa Francia residence, about 10 minutes by car outside heavy traffic. During major trade shows and the Film Festival, allow extra time: traffic slows considerably.
Are the beaches far away?
No: the beaches are a 7-minute walk from the Villa Francia residence. It is one of the strengths of the address — you can walk down for a swim in the sea in the morning and use the residence pool in the afternoon, without ever touching the car.
How do I get there from Nice airport or Cannes station?
From Nice Côte d'Azur airport, allow 30 to 45 minutes by car via the A8 motorway, taking the Cannes Ouest or Cannes La Bocca exit. Regular bus shuttles also run, as does a train connection from Cannes railway station. Cannes railway station is 3.2 to 4 km from the residence, roughly ten minutes by car, or a local bus ride from the stop near the residence. An airport transfer can be arranged through our partner, with the supplement paid directly to the provider.
Can I book for a single night?
Yes, the minimum stay is one night. Check-in is from 5:00 pm and check-out at 11:00 am.
Is the Wi-Fi good enough to work from?
Yes. The apartment has a fibre connection: an nPerf test carried out over Wi-Fi on site on 4 July 2025 measured 1.83 Gbps download, 805 Mbps upload and 17 ms latency. Video calls and large file transfers pose no difficulty.
Is there parking?
Yes, the Villa Francia residence has secure indoor parking.
