What a holiday at Villa Francia looks like
In the morning, breakfast is taken on the balcony: the light comes in off the sea and the pool is still empty. It is often the quietest moment of the day.
The middle of the day is spent at the pool or on the solarium, in the shade of a parasol. The more energetic walk down to hit a few balls on the tennis courts or start a game of petanque in the grounds.
The afternoon belongs to Cannes: the beaches — seven minutes on foot — the Croisette, the Forville market, Le Suquet old town, or a boat crossing to the Lerins Islands. Then you come back up, cook, and the evening ends outside as the bay lights up.

How many people can stay in the apartment?
Up to 4 guests: a 140 × 190 cm double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room.
Will the pool be open during my stay?
The Villa Francia residence pool is open from April to November. It is closed from December to March.
Can we come with a baby?
Yes. Baby equipment (pushchair, cot, car seat) can be delivered directly to the apartment, to the airport or to the railway station through the Baby On A Trip service. Booking is made online at least 48 hours in advance; arrangements and payment are handled with that provider.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, the Villa Francia residence has secure indoor parking.
How far are the beaches and central Cannes?
The beaches are a 7-minute walk from the Villa Francia residence. The Palais des Festivals, at the heart of the Cannes seafront, is 2.9 km away, about 10 minutes by car; the Boulevard de la Croisette runs on directly from there.
Do we need to bring bed linen and towels?
No. The beds are made up on arrival and bath towels are provided. Extra linen is available on request, with 12 hours' notice: €8 per towel plus a €30 delivery charge.
Is the apartment suitable for guests from abroad?
Yes. Check-in is self-service with access codes, so there is no need to meet anyone at a set time after a long flight, and we correspond in English. Nice Côte d'Azur airport is the usual arrival point for Cannes: allow 30 to 45 minutes by car via the A8 motorway. Cannes railway station, on the coastal line, is 3.2 to 4 km from the residence.
